There is zero downtime. Patients must avoid washing hair until a day or two after treatment. After that period, you can style your hair as you usually do. You may experience some discomfort such as tightness of the scalp, redness, and swelling from the micro-needling for up to 48 hours. However, you can manage it with analgesics like Tylenol. Avoid drugs like Aspirin, Aleve, Advil, ibuprofen, and other NSAIDS.
